Trusting God for

Everything

Come and enjoy a contemplative overnight

Fall Retreat!

Friday Oct. 27th - Saturday Oct. 28th, 2023

Are you longing for some time away with God?

Some relief and rest from your worries?  Come!

"Uncertainty about the economy, employment, health and relationships often gives us fearful, worried lives.  But Psalm 23 offers a picture of what it looks like when we live our lives with God.  Such a life of connecting with God moves us toward becoming people who live with joy and gratefulness and are able to bless..." (author; Jan Johnson)

Sound too good to be true?

Come, join us and embrace more fully

a life of trust and confidence in God.

"In an age when daily life and even vacations are characterized by pressure-packed schedules, a retreat invites us to soul-nurturing rest."

Jesus said,

"I will give you rest"

(Mt 11:28)

Why go on a retreat?

"Jesus invites us to be with him, offering our full and undivided attention to him. When we choose to retreat, we make a generous investment in our friendship with Christ. We are not always generous with ourselves where God is concerned. Many of us have tried to incorporate regular times of solitude and silence into the rhythm of our ordinary lives, which may mean that we give God twenty minutes here and half an hour there. And there’s no question we are better for it! But we need more.

Indeed, we long for more.

There has never been a time when the invitation to retreat is so radical and so relevant,

so needed and so welcome.

It is not a luxury, but a necessity of the spiritual life."

-Ruth Haley Barton, Invitation to Retreat
