Arranging Our Lives for Spiritual Transformation
Enjoy a nice breath of fresh air this summer by participating in this life-giving study which incorporates; scripture, a new spiritual practice each week, light homework and reading... alongside a wonderful community of fellow disciples of Jesus.
"Drawing on the imagery of the natural rhythms of the created order, Sacred Rhythms explores the practices that spiritual seekers and growing disciples have used throughout history to grow closer to God."

Do you long for a deep, fundamental change in your life with God?
Do you desire a greater intimacy with God?
Do you wonder how you might truly live your life -as God created you to live it?

Dallas Willard defines spiritual disciplines as "Activities we engage in that are within our power and enable us to do what we cannot do by direct effort, because in this way we meet the action of God (grace) with us, and the outcome is humanly inexplicable. This is what it means to speak of discipline as 'a means to grace.' They are required in every area of life"

Dr Robert Mulholland’s basic definition of “spiritual formation is a process of being conformed to the image of Christ for the sake of others.”

Dr. Mulholland points out in his book that everyone is, at all times and in all places, undergoing spiritual formation—consciously or unconsciously—and through this formation will come either something wonderful or something destructive. "We are being shaped into either the wholeness of the image of Christ or a horribly destructive caricature of that image—destructive not only to ourselves but also to others. . .the direction of our spiritual growth infuses all we do with intimations of either Life or Death”
(Invitation to a Journey; A Roadmap to Spiritual Formation).

The choice to establish your own sacred rhythm is the most important choice you can make with your life.
