We offer: CONNEXUS/THRIVE CLASSES

& Mentoring for Facilitators of these courses

The Connexus/Thrive classes bring that missing link for many Christians in their spiritual journey.  After years of trying everything they are told, like studying their Bibles & praying, having their "quiet time" and serving faithfully -  many still find themselves struggling with the same thing year after year or exhausted from all that effort.   Those that find their way to the Connexus/Thrive materials say "Finally, I understand what was missing and now I know better what I am responsible for and what only God can do with and for me."

These excellent materials are designed to help develop resiliency and life skills, teach the differences between human & spiritual maturity, alongside scriptural studies and an integration of the latest neuroscience.  12 week courses are run by a trained facilitator.  They include DVD teachings and exercises in class and at home, all while building a joyful and safe community.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

Restarting is for everyone and wonderfully integrates the Scriptures with the latest neuroscience and psychology.  Whether you think you struggle with addiction or not, you probably know someone who does.   Understanding how our brains are wired for attachment and relationships helps us learn how the effects of trauma, stress and the lack of quieting can actually rewire our brains.

Connexus Restarting is designed to provide a revolutionary new approach to recovery from trauma, addictions, and character issues.

You don't have to be addicted to drugs or alcohol to struggle with using "things" to quiet cravings and emotions.  Fake joy creates similar brain chemistry and can be stimulated by addictions to even such things as food, shopping, busyness, the internet & social media, perfectionism, etc.   All keep us away from the abundant life Jesus offers us.

God created us to live in true biblical joy, which comes only from joyful healthy secure relationships with Him and others.

If you have or want to help others with cravings or addictions and want to acquire or repair relational brain skills & maturity, that were either missed or somehow damaged by the bumps and scrapes of life, Restarting is the class for you.

Learn how to heal from life's traumas and find ways to become unstuck in negative emotions- these are just two of the skills you'll acquire here.

Forming is a spiritual formation class for those wanting to grow closer in their relationship with the Lord.  It is also for those who are growing in the spiritual life or for those feeling they are ready for something more or are having a hard time connecting personally to the Lord or hearing His voice.

Forming is for those interested in seeking more intimacy with God and in being formed to be more like His Son our Lord, Jesus Christ through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

Forming is designed to help people move away from performance-driven efforts to live the Christian life and demonstrates how to develop a relationship with God that has enough substance to change us from the inside out.

Belonging is a class that combines people from Restarting and Forming.  It is a level two course that is taken either after you've completed Restarting and/or Forming.  Here we come together to learn how to create belonging and build a thriving relational and joyful community around us.  Instead of always looking to others to help us fit in, we now create a place around ourselves where others can belong.

Belonging helps break down the we/them mentality that often happens when the “weak and strong interact” and helps us all learn how to create belonging around us.  It incorporates relational brain skill training, along with biblical principles and over 60 practical exercises and tools.

Connexus Belonging is designed to help you grow deeper, life-giving relationships with God and others.

Joyful Journey; Listening to Immanuel - Experiencing God’s presence brings healing, peace and connection. But like any other relationship, experiencing God’s presence takes practice and presence.

Joyful Journey will teach you how to practice God’s presence every day. Discover how you can enjoy daily guidance and friendship with God, using methods grounded in scripture, spiritual disciplines and cutting-edge neuroscience.

Surprising joy. Profound healing. Intimate connection.

“I have personally used the method often and have been ‘spreading the news’ widely. It has been life changing for so many people!” - Jane Willard, wife of the late Dallas Willard and co-founder of the Shepherd’s House.

OTHER CLASS WE OFTEN FACILITATE-

Emotionally Healthy Spirituality & Emotionally Relationship Courses:

Many wonder what is wrong within our churches today.  Why are people not changing and growing more loving?  These two courses have a key concept that "It's impossible to be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature."  The course EHS challenges you to look beneath the surface with God and experience lasting transformation in your relationship with Him.  The EHR course gives practical relational skills to love as Jesus loves.

Sacred Rhythms- Spiritual Practices that Nourish Your Soul and Transform Your Life

Join us for this six session gathering, as we draw on the imagery found in the natural rhythms of the created order.  "Sacred Rhythms explores the practices that spiritual seekers and growing disciples have used throughout history to grow closer to God." -Ruth Haley Barton

Hearing God Curriculum

This series & class features teachings with the late Dallas Willard, and also includes conversations with friends Richard Foster, as they discuss biblically based concepts and practices around hearing God's voice.

"Is it not, in fact, more presumptuous to undertake human existence without hearing God?" - Dallas Willard

Get Your life Back

We live in soul-scorching times. The 24-7 onslaught of contemporary life—with its never-ending feed of global tragedies, demands for our attention, and pressures of work, church commitments, family, and friends—has left many of us feeling ragged, wrung-out, anxious, depressed and emptied.
